I’ve been writing on Medium since July 2018.
For the first 1.5 years, it was a side project besides my studies, a full-time internship, and various other side hustles.
In December 2019, I realized that writing online is one of my biggest passions and that I want to dedicate more time to it. I started writing every day and spent hundreds of hours analyzing well-performing articles and the most successful writers on the platform.
In January 2020, I made $1,739.26.
Six months later, in July 2020, I made $11,163.61 in a single month.
In the meantime, I’ve built the most helpful Facebook community for Medium writers, created an online program that helps (aspiring) writers to achieve similar results, launched a newsletter where I share weekly writing advice with three other successful online writers, and recently started a Youtube channel dedicated to helping writers grow.
When I talk about making money on Medium, I do so because I have the experience and data to back up the claims I make.
