Admittedly, I never thought of it in that way. For me, using “my boy” was just a nicer, especially shorter way to say “my boyfriend”.

I totally understand that these labels are important in the business world and I’d certainly not like to be called a girl. However, I never thought of that while writing “my boy”. I’ll actually discuss this with my partner, I’m super curious what his take on it is :)
